Avenue Nine started in Nov 2008. Dom, Leon & Ben were remaining
members from a previous band "Landed". Following the split, Dom, Leon
& Ben had 8 months off from music and then advertised for a front
man!!
 
Bryan "The Gloves-Geordie" Watson was the best they could find and so
down came the Geordie and away they went!! With the sheer enthusiasm
of Bryan moving all the way from Newcastle to Cambridge, just to be in
a band, a bass player (Adam "Quick Finger" Roberts) was rapidly

The band started rehearsing hard and soon got their debut gig
supporting "The Third Man" (Max Rafferty-Ex-Kooks) @ the Met Lounge
P'Boro in Feb 2009!!
 
Since then, the band have played over 10 gigs supporting "Navvy" &
"Dharma" on seperate NME Tours and also a handful of Acoustic Sets and
Gigs with other Local Bands.
 
June 2009 see's changes to the A9 Line Up. Bass player Adam Roberts is
leaving the band to move to London to persue his career. A new Bass
player has been recruited and we have began working with him-details
to follow soon.
 
We are planning to have our 5 Track EP "Street Lights" out for general
release in Jan 2010. It will be available on iTunes & various other
download sites. Updates coming soon.
